The Plan
If you’ve just finished Rank 1, you should still be in Central Shroud. If not, teleport to the Bentbranch Aetheryte and head down to Galvanth’s Spire. Here, intermingled with the Roselets from Rank 1, you’ll find Hornet Swarms [11]. A little further southeast are the Arbor Buzzards [12], which patrol the stones and footpaths leading out to Lilystone. Lastly, double back to the Tam-Tara Deepcroft and look for Magicked Bones [13a] in the cryptlike antechamber to the dungeon. Warp back to town when you’ve slain at least one skeleton.
All but one of the remaining entries may be found in the East Shroud. Take the handy Old Gridania ferry (14,6) over to Sweetbloom Pier and work your way through the zone in a general southeasterly direction. Treant Saplings [13b] are found on the eastern side of the path through the Honey Yard; to the south of these, slightly overlapping, are Wild Hoglets [14]. East of the Hoglets, a bit deeper into the woods, lies a little patch of Mandragoras [13c]. These are blockaded by aggressive Northern Vultures to the south; approach them from the northwest and save yourself the hassle. Return to the trail and head due south to find Goblin Hunters [13d] who camp at the southern end of the Honey Yard.
The next few mobs lie eastward, in Nine Ivies. Begin with the Lemurs [15], who are south of the path. They sit still and throw stones when engaged, so can’t be effectively kited; watch your health, especially if you’re still level 13 or under. Keep heading east to find some relatively tame Faerie Funguars [16], followed by Giant Gnats [17]. The latter are aggressive but move slowly, and they waste a lot of time performing a frontal attack that is easy to dodge. Now cut north past Josselin’s Spire to the Bramble Patch, where you’ll encounter Wild Boars [20]. These are the hardest-hitting enemies on our shopping list, but you can kite them around with relative ease; just be sure to avoid their trample attack. Finally, go back to the Hawthorne Hut (this zone’s hub) and head southeast (if you reach a tunnel, you’re too far west). In a little pocket at the southern edge of the zone are Raptor Poachers [18], mixed in a dense pack with Boar Poachers and Wolf Poachers. Pick off just the Raptor ones and proceed through the nearby South Shroud tunnel.
You’ll emerge in the Mun-Tuy Cellars. Attune to the Aetheryte at Quarrymill (to make return trips easier) and head west through a charming little ravine. The Antelope Does [19] are in the northwestern corner of the zone.
